I have met Ira at a workshop in 2019, but I heard about his teachings a year before. I heard there is this teacher who can show you everything about clowning and I was eager to meet him. It took me some time but finally I have experienced his work which was so clear to me and my kind of work. All the exercises were usable to all kind of performances, acting, clowning, puppeteering, directing, my work in Red Noses as a clown doctor. It did not stop at that, I read the Clown Secret book where I found many excellent examples and stories about performing arts. I find Ira's work deep, concentrated, efficient and extremely professional. It helped me so far so much and I am continuously using it in my professional work as a clown, actress, clown doctor, and a director. Ira is also available for online advices, as a mentor, teacher and this helps a lot for a young performer as myself who is interested in physical theatre and clowning.
